In order to get a good look at the audio book review, you will need to look the different types. The review is very similar to a one of a regular book. The types a very similar with a couple of variations. There are also sites that do only reviews of audio books.

Most reviews have the same key elements. They contain a synopsis of the different books as well as some of the printed copy information. Rarely they will contain the publishing information of the audio book. Length, whether or not the copy is abridged or unabridged, and the reader might also be contained.

The primary type of review usually is an informative review. It gives a summary of the audio book. Normally it is not an opinion but just a summation. Normally those do not contain the name of the person reading or any information about them.

Another type is strictly the opinion of the reviewer. It normally contains a short summary of the book and sometimes contains information about the reader of the book. Reader in audio books is the term for the person who read the book to audio.

The third type is normally copied from the reviews of the print book instead of specifically the audio book. These book reviews are normally the ones that come out before the book is released and are by newspapers, journals, magazines, and other authors.

There is also the type the come directly from the reader. These might be a paragraph or two from the admin or a review from a fan. They tend to be a combination of all of the other types depending on the individuals writing style.

There are a lot of different sites that offer reviews of audio books. Most sites have reviews from noted sources and reviews from individuals who read the audio book. You will have to look at who is paying or not paying for the review when you are considering its validity.

The best review sites are the ones where the reviewers are not being paid to complete the review. If you find on that does pay then be sure that they are not being paid by the publisher. This is not always easy information to find out.

When looking at what a review says make sure you look at the source of the review. You might not want to rely on a review from somewhere you do not trust. A lot of publishers will pay people to write good things about their audio book. This is often the case with publisher comments and the reviews published on the jacket of the audio book.

With audio books you have to consider the person reading the book to audio as well as the content of the book. A good book can be ruined by a bad reader. Remember that the whole book is normally read by the same person and this can be very important when listening
